Long-Arm Quilting
Ever wanted to sew a quilt, but thought it would take too long to hand quilt it together? Do you have any of Grandma's quilt tops hiding in a closet waiting to be quilted? Quilts Unlimited specializes in quilt finishing. We take your completed quilt tops and stitch the top to the batting and the back.
There are many varieties of stitching to choose from. Some of these options include: feathering, meandering, stippling, leaves, flowers, loops, swirls and many more. See the table below for information on a few of our stitches. Or, we can create a custom design based on your quilt. Perhaps you made an animal quilt for your grandbaby. Let us design an animal themed pattern for you. Whether you choose a pattern, one of our own designs, or we create a design just for your quilt, we want to please you. Rachel or Gale would be happy to discuss options. If you would like additional information, please contact us.

feathering |
Feathering is a technique used for borders and as a decorative touch. As its name implies, this stitch looks like a feathery leaf. This pattern can be curved, straight, one-sided, two-sided, circular, or heart shaped. |
meandering |
Like a lazy walk, a meandering stitch lazily runs over the quilt. This pattern is sometimes called a crazy puzzle since it looks like puzzle pieces. |
stippling |
Similar to meandering, this small stitch is used to outline embroidery and applique in order to make them stand out. |
loops |
As its name implies, this stitch meanders along with loops at various increments. It can be combined with flowers, butterflies, stars, leaves, or just about anything else you can think of. |
flowers |
We have several flower patterns: pansies, daisies, five-petal flowers, roses, and tulips. If you would like a different type of flower, let us know and we can design one. |
swirls and curls |
This stitch can be varied to your taste. It can be made to look like waves or snails. |
leaves |
This stitch nicely decorates a fall quilt. Or it can be used with loops and flowers to enhance the stitch. |
